Joining together for a good cause again in 2018

It is now gradually becoming something of an established tradition in the "Guido Family", that as an alternative to giving Christmas gifts to business partners in the festive season, to make a donation to a charitable organisation instead, financed by both the company and its staff.

In 2018 once again, therefore, the staff at Guido GmbH donated the business courtesies they received from business partners to a tombola. The lots were offered for sale to all staff and this year the proceeds came to a respectable € 522. This was topped up with the generous sum of € 5,000 from Guido GmbH and was donated to the ZSER e. V. in Regensburg for the first time. This is a foundation for children and adults with rare diseases, which, among other things, provides patients with support which is not covered by public health insurance. In particular, very rare diseases affecting no more than five people per 10,000 inhabitants are often the “orphans” of medical care, which is why funding support for research projects on these rare diseases and their treatment is one of the foundation’s activities. “We are committed to supporting not just well-known large institutions, but also - and especially - not to forget the smaller, less well-known ones at the same time.”
