Bavarian Education Day on 29 July 2015

Barbara Stierstorfer, member of the Bavarian State Parliament, and Philipp Graf von und zu Lerchenfeld, member of the German Federal Parliament, along with Mayor Heinz Kiechle, paid a visit to Guido GmbH as part of the Bavarian Education Day.

The visitors were impressed by the high percentage of trainees and low rate of employee turnover at the company. In a joint welcoming meeting with all the industrial business management assistants, industrial mechanics, work placement students and sandwich course students, the visitors congratulated the newly qualified industrial business management assistants on the successful completion of their training.

The visit was combined with a tour of the company and a concluding round table discussion about transport policy in the Regensburg area and urban development in Neutraubling.

The focus of the discussion from the viewpoint of the Neutraubling-based company was the urgent need for a solution to the traffic problems in the wider area.
