At the eleventh traditional pensioners’ celebration get together for Maschinenfabrik Guido GmbH employees, managing director Hans-Jürgen Guido said farewell to nine employees who together clock a total of 319 years loyal service to the company.

Mr. Peter Kiermeier contributed to the success of the company from the first day of his apprenticeship as a machine fitter for 47 years until his retirement, the longest period of service with the company since pensioners’ celebrations began. This was followed by 45 years by his colleague Mr. Heinz Weigert, and 44 years by Mr. Kurt Feistenauer and 43 years by Mr. Erich Luthermoser.
Other employees celebrating anniversaries for their loyalty to the company were Mr. Hans-Helmut Zikeli with 39 years, Ms. Hermine Vollmer with 28 years, Mr. Becir Ajeti with 25 years, Mr. Alfred Fischer and Mr. Anton Hotter each with 24 years at the company.
Mr. Ajeti worked for the company beyond his regular retirement age until the age of 74, the oldest active employee in the company’s history to date.
More than 15 million high-pressure lines “Made in Neutraubling” are now incorporated each year in cars, coaches and trucks, as well as construction machinery, power generators, tractors, ships and fork-lift trucks. Over half of production is exported, including to distant parts of the world such as China, India and South America.
With the development of high-pressure lines for hydrogen and synthetic fuels, the company is already paving the way for future CO2-neutral drive systems.
As part of the celebrations at the Hotel am See, Hans-Jürgen Guido, who also now has 27 years’ involvement in the company behind him, presented those celebrating their anniversaries with a certificate in a leather folder, along with a gift, in recognition of their many years of loyal and dedicated service to the company.
