From customer specifications to the finished product

Together with our customers we compile customer specifications and other specifications covering all product requirements for each project. We produce drawings and CAD models which the development departments of our customers can incorporate directly in the CAD model of the engine, or even the vehicle as a whole, in the form of a virtual product solution. At the same time we also undertake simulation calculations such as modal analyses and team feasibility studies. Working together with our customers we run the product through an optimisation process which in some cases is even driven by the results of virtual crash tests for the complete vehicle.

We carry out component tests in parallel on our component testing rigs, which accompany test measurements directly on the customer’s engines. Full component approval for release at component level is documented in a validation matrix agreed with the customer. The planning and implementation of the component approval process, deliveries of prototypes and industrialisation in computer-based project planning tools, take full account of the customer’s delivery schedule requirements.

The goal of the project management and application development process at GUIDO at all times is the perfect product. To this end we therefore plan and make our production tools and lines ourselves in-house in order to facilitate optimised and, as far as possible, low cost work processes within the framework of industrial production.
