Vibration measurements on fuel injection lines

On request our engineers can also measure the vibrations of the fuel injection lines on the engine using a portable measuring system developed specifically for the purpose in-house. The customer can therefore be provided with a statement on the fatigue strength of a particular application, which significantly reduces the long-winded durability test runs carried out for the release of the fuel injection lines as components for the customer.

For new engine projects, therefore, our applications engineers carry out comprehensive vibration analyses with concluding findings directly on site at the customer’s premises. The sensors required to do this can generally be fitted to the engines quickly without any significant interference with the engine.
